Our Mission

To spread Reiki to enable people in their healing at all levels, Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual.

Reiki is the simplest form of healing; all one needs is two hands and an open mind to learn about healing by using Universal energy, which is available to all, in abundance. Mrs. Rupa Mahanty, who is a traditional Reiki Grand Master, empowers her students according to the Usui Shiki Ryoho, which is the traditional form in which Reiki has been taught, unchanged thru' our lineage.

Our History

Reiki has had a very profound impact on the lives of the Mahantys, who have been working with this limitless energy since 1996. Mrs.Rupa Mahanty, considers herself very fortunate to have received the responsibility of becoming a Reiki Grand Master, and has always intended to share this healing energy with society at large, with the corporate world and the less affluent in particular; two very different ends of the spectrum. She works with her students to realize their full potential, and to help and guide them in their development and well-being. Encouraged by her husband in all her endeavours, the Mahantys open their home to people who seek empowerment through Reiki. We have all been fortunate to learn Reiki in the wonderful ambience of their home at 3, Hesal Road, and thus the term "Hesal Reiki" was born.

Mrs. Mahantys' Intentions have been more than fulfilled; more than 85 % of the students who learn here are professionals, ranging from Management Professionals, Engineers, Physicists, Teachers, Students, Artists, Doctors, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Pilots, Sailors, Executives, Entrepreneurs, War veterans .The gift of Reiki is certainly reaching the corporate world!

Reiki has also reached the financially less privileged through the lovingly named "Rural Clinic", where the Reiki channels reach out to the less privileged and assist them in their healing. We also run a "Network" thru' which we communicate with each other to send distance healing Reiki to people affected by serious illness or dire circumstances.

Further, our Reiki family regularly organises Light Circles where several of our caring and compassionate Reiki channels join together to send healing energy to the sick and ailing all over the world as well as to those affected by disastrous situations.

The Hesal Reiki family consists of young and young at heart, who are always ready to work thru' Reiki. It is due to the love and the affection showered by Mrs.Mahanty on her Reiki family that she is fondly called "Guruma" by many of her students; she is sometimes amused when the youngsters affectionately call her "the Guruma who says 'Yo'", as people of all generations feel comfortable with her! Her patience and smile bring peace in the hearts of all Reiki students and it makes the process of learning Reiki seem effortless.

Dr. Rupa Mahanty considers herself fortunate that life has presented her with other opportunities to earn; the fees collected in her Reiki Programmes are entirely put into charity; 10% to RAJ ( the Reiki Association of Jamshedpur) and the rest to the Kudy Mahanty Chirens' Opportunities, (KMCO), a registered charitable trust of which Mrs. Mahanty is the Chairperson. Her consultancy company, R.M.Associates, sponsors all the expenses associated with our Reiki programmes.

Hesal Reiki has a team of experienced monitors who are trained under the tutelage of Anjale Kayship and Niroop Mahanty, who assist students in their learning and ensure that it takes place in a comfortable and relaxed ambience where students can focus on understanding the limitlessness of this healing energy, in an environment conducive to learning in comfort
